Cubbon Park
This 300-acre park is known for its fresh air, greenery, and calmness. This is a famous spot for families and couples who want to make their evening a happy one. The park comprises around 6000 trees of around 100 species. There is no entry fee for this park, and it remains open from morning to evening.
Lalbagh Botanical Garden
This garden was made back in the 1760s when the Mysore ruler reserved 40 acres of land for the garden to be used by the royal family. Over the years, many rulers like Tipu Sultan expanded and developed this garden. Visitors love this garden as it gives them relief from the fast-moving life of Bangalore. Tourists also visit this garden as its beauty speaks about the richness of ancient people. There is an entry fee of Rs. 10 to visit this garden, and it remains open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Bannerghatta National Park
Bangalore is a hub for IT guys, but its surrounding area comprises many wild creatures. Located in the outer area of Bangalore, this national park will allow you to capture wild species from very close. You can see elephants, sloth bears, sambars, leopards, and wild boars in this park. There is an entry fee of Rs. 150-280 for Safari.
Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta
This is situated around 70kms from the south of Bangalore and is the most famous hiking spot. This area is approx 3780ft high and comprises a temple of Lord Ranganatha Swamy. You can easily see elephants and other wild animals in the dense shrubs of this area. The picturesque view from the top of the spot can easily grab the attention of tourists.
Freedom Park
This park covers around 21 acres and is built in the same area where earlier was Central Jail. You can get a glimpse of the Jail area on this spot as you can see the towers used to keep an eye on prisoners. Sculpture court, water fountain, book museum, jail museum, and people courtyard are other tourist attractions.
Lumbini Garden
Being one of the amazing places, this garden is a favorite place for many visitors because of the verdant landscape and stunning environment. Located on the bank of Nagaware Lake, many families prefer to spend their whole day with their kids in this park. Amusement park, elegant fountains, wave pool, and boating are some of the activities loved by the visitors.
