Customised Uniforms for your Work Team

December 25, 2018

If you’re responsible for designing and ordering customized uniforms for your work team, continue reading to discover a few handy tips which will make ordering uniforms for your team a breeze.

Tips on ordering customised uniforms for your work team:

1. Make sure that the styles which you choose are functional

One mistake which many businesses make is to choose customised uniforms which are stylish but which aren’t suited to the tasks which their employees will complete on a day to day basis. As an example, if your team members are going to be moving around a lot, it’s not a good idea to order tight fitted uniforms or uniforms which feature shirts which don’t breathe well.

Also, make sure to select materials for your team uniforms which are suited to the climate which your team works in. As examples, if your team works in a cold environment you may want to include jackets and sweaters in your team uniforms whilst if your team works in a warm climate, you’ll need to choose pieces which are light and breathable and which won’t cause your team members to sweat.

2. Make sure that the uniforms which you select will flatter different body types

Instead of choosing a uniform which will only flatter one body shape, it’s well-selecting pieces which will look just as tidy on different body shapes and which all of your team members will feel confident wearing. Just remember, that the uniform pieces which you choose are extremely important as your team members will wear them on a daily basis, so it’s crucial that each of your team members feels confident wearing their uniform.

As a bonus, if you select customized uniforms which your team members enjoy wearing, they’ll be more likely to take pride in their appearance and to take good care of their uniforms. Which means that you won’t have to replace your team member’s uniforms as often as you currently do!

3. Consider customising your team’s uniforms

One way to ensure that your team members look uniform is to customize your team’s uniforms. As an example, you may want to consider placing your team member’s names on the back of their shirts or placing your business’ logo on the front of your team member’s uniforms.

If you do choose to get your team member’s names printed on their shirts, just ensure to double check the spelling of each name. As the last thing you want to do is to misspell one of your team members’ names.

Alternatively, you can’t go wrong using your business’ color scheme as inspiration for the color scheme of your team’s uniform.

4. Ask your team members for their input and opinions

In order to design customised uniforms that your team members will actually enjoy wearing, it’s a great idea to ask each of your team members for their input before going ahead and getting your new team uniforms designed.

If you ensure to follow the four steps listed above, you should have no problem creating custom workwear for your team that they will approve of!
